[2005-09-01] LightReading Insider publishes “Ethernet in the First Mile: Who’s Doing What?”. Quote from the abstract: “This report examines the different forms of Ethernet access defined by 802.3ah. It provides a product taxonomy of the EFM space, splitting vendors into their respective categories and detailing the various niche vendors targeting 802.3ah and similar EFM technologies. It also describes the positions of some of the large, established telecom equipment vendors as regards 802.3ah. In closing, the report discusses the potential for future development of EFM technology and provides some further analysis of the general state and current direction of the EFM market.” [2005-08-08] LightReading is organizing another Webinar on Ethernet in the First Mile.
